1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how AI Video Platform (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use the VidArt AI app for iOS (the “App”). It applies only to VidArt AI. Our other apps are covered by their own policies.

By using the App, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please stop using the App.

2. Your Account

The App does not ask you to sign up or log in. When you first open it, an anonymous account is created for you with Google Firebase Authentication. This means:

• We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number.
• Your account is identified by an anonymous user ID. You can copy it in the App under Settings, Copy User ID, for example when you contact support.
• The anonymous ID is stored on your device and can survive reinstalling the App. If you buy something, Restore Purchases can bring your account back on the same Apple Account.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information Collected Automatically

• Your anonymous user ID
• Device model, operating system version, App version, language and region settings
• How you use the App, such as screens viewed, features used and session length (Firebase Analytics)
• Crash reports and diagnostic data (Firebase Crashlytics)
• A push notification token, if you allow notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging)
• Device integrity signals from Apple, used through Firebase App Check to confirm requests come from the genuine App and to prevent abuse
• Your IP address, which our servers receive with each request. To stop abuse of free credits, we keep only a salted hash of it, never the address itself.

3.2 Content You Provide

• Text prompts you write
• Photos, videos and audio that you choose from your library or files, capture with the camera, or record in the App
• Words you type into the App’s image search
• Messages you send to the creative assistant in the App’s chat, and the notes the assistant keeps about your preferences so it can help you better
• The videos and images the App generates for you, with their settings (style, length, aspect ratio and similar)
• Reports you submit about content

3.3 Purchases

The App is free to download and offers optional in app purchases: auto renewing subscriptions and one time credit packs. Apple processes every payment. We never receive your name, billing address or card details. To deliver what you bought, we and our purchase provider (Adapty) receive transaction records from Apple, such as the product, transaction identifiers, purchase date and subscription status, linked to your anonymous user ID.

3.4 Advertising and Attribution

The App includes the Meta (Facebook) SDK, which helps us measure which of our ads lead people to install and use the App. When you first open the App, iOS asks whether you allow tracking (App Tracking Transparency).

• If you allow tracking, Meta receives your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA) together with App events: installs, App opens, your first generated video, purchases, free trials and subscriptions, and your anonymous user ID. This is used to measure our ads and to show you more relevant ads.
• If you do not allow tracking, the advertising identifier is not shared. Meta may still receive the App events above without it, and Apple may report aggregated, anonymous install results to Meta through SKAdNetwork.

You can change your choice at any time in iOS Settings, Privacy & Security, Tracking.

3.5 Information We Do Not Collect

• Your name, email address or phone number
• Your precise location
• Your contacts, calendar or browsing history
• Your photo library. The App only sees the items you pick, and it can save videos you create to Photos. It cannot browse your library.

3.6 Photos and Faces

Some features animate or restyle a photo you choose, and that photo may show a person’s face.

• We do not perform facial recognition, face matching, identity detection, age estimation or any other biometric analysis, and we do not create or store a faceprint or any other biometric identifier.
• A photo, including any face in it, is used only to create the result you asked for. It is never used to identify or track anyone and never used for advertising.
• You may only upload photos of yourself or of people who have given you permission to use their likeness.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers below, each for the purpose described.

4.1 Vidom (AI video generation)

Videos and images are generated by our AI generation provider, Vidom. Before you create your first video, the App asks for your consent to send your content for generation. When you start a generation, we send Vidom your prompt, the photos, videos or audio you chose for it, and the settings, along with a request identifier. We do not send your name, contact details or advertising identifier. Vidom returns the result to us.

4.2 Microsoft Azure OpenAI (chat assistant)

When you use the chat, your messages, the conversation so far and the assistant’s notes about your preferences are sent to Microsoft’s Azure OpenAI service to write the assistant’s replies. Under Microsoft’s terms for this service, your messages are not used to train its models.

4.3 Google

Google Firebase provides anonymous sign in, our database, file storage, server functions, analytics, crash reporting, push notifications and App Check. See the Firebase Privacy and Security page. When you use the App’s image search, the words you type are sent from our servers to Google Search to find images. We do not store your searches, and Google does not receive your user ID. 4.4 Adapty

Adapty validates purchases and subscriptions and receives the transaction records described in Section 3.3 with your anonymous user ID. See Adapty’s Privacy Policy.

4.5 Meta

Meta receives the advertising and attribution data described in Section 3.4. See Meta’s Privacy Policy.

4.6 Apple

Apple distributes the App, processes payments and delivers push notifications. See Apple’s Privacy Policy.

4.7 Legal Reasons

We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and property of our users, the public or us.

5. How We Use Information

• To create the videos, images and chat replies you ask for
• To keep your history so you can watch, download and share your creations again
• To manage your credit balance and deliver purchases and subscription benefits
• To send notifications you allowed, such as when a video is ready or free credits are available
• To understand how the App is used and fix problems
• To measure our advertising, as described in Section 3.4
• To prevent fraud and abuse, review reported content and enforce our Terms of Use
• To comply with legal obligations

6. Data Storage, Retention and Deletion

6.1 What We Keep

• Your creations (prompts, the photos, videos and audio you used, and the results) stay in your history until you delete them in the App or delete your account. When you delete a creation, we delete its files from our storage. The photo of a generation that failed may be kept so we can investigate moderation and abuse, until you delete your account.
• Chat conversations and the assistant’s notes stay until you delete the conversation or your account.
• Account data (anonymous ID, credit balance and purchase status) stays while your account exists.

6.2 Deleting Your Account

You can delete your account in the App under Settings, Delete Account. This permanently deletes your creations, uploaded files, chat conversations, the assistant’s notes and the reports you filed, and sets your credit balance to zero. Remaining credits are forfeited.

Some records are kept after deletion, linked only to your anonymous ID: a record that your ID already received its free welcome credits and whether it has made a purchase (so free credits cannot be claimed again), and records of App Store purchases, kept for accounting, refunds and fraud prevention. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in iOS Settings under your Apple Account, Subscriptions.

You can also ask us to delete your data by emailing admin@aivideoplatform.ai with your user ID.

6.3 Data Held by Providers

Information shared with the providers in Section 4 is kept according to their own policies. In particular, Vidom keeps copies of generated results on its servers, and we cannot delete those copies when you delete a creation or your account.

7. Device Permissions

All permissions are optional. Without them, some features will not work.

• Tracking: to share your advertising identifier with Meta, as described in Section 3.4.
• Notifications: to tell you when a video is ready or free credits are available.
• Camera: to take a photo or video to use in a creation.
• Microphone: to record audio to use in a creation.
• Save to Photos: to save your creations to your Photos library. The App cannot read your library.

8. Children

The App is rated 18+ on the App Store and is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child is using the App, contact us at admin@aivideoplatform.ai.

9. Your Rights

9.1 Your Choices

• Deletion: delete your account in the App or email us, as described in Section 6.2.
• Tracking: allow or refuse tracking in iOS Settings at any time.
• Notifications: turn them off in iOS Settings at any time.
• Access: email us with your user ID to ask what data we hold for it.

9.2 European Economic Area, UK and Switzerland

We process your information to provide the service you ask for (performance of a contract), for our legitimate interests in securing, improving and promoting the App, and, for tracking through the Meta SDK, on the basis of your consent in the iOS tracking prompt. You may access, correct, delete or object to the processing of your data, withdraw consent at any time, and complain to your local data protection authority.

9.3 California

We do not sell personal information for money. When you allow tracking, sharing your advertising identifier and App events with Meta may count as “sharing” for cross context behavioral advertising under California law. You can opt out at any time by turning off tracking in iOS Settings. You may also ask us to tell you about or delete the data linked to your user ID. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.

10. Security

We protect information with encryption in transit (HTTPS), encrypted storage, access controls on our servers and App Check on every request. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. International Transfers

Your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where we and our providers operate. These countries may have data protection laws different from yours. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post changes on this page and update the date above, and we will notify you in the App of material changes.
